Zöhre Kız was born in 1909 in the village of Uruş in the town of Oğuzeli in Gaziantep. Later, when the whole village became famous for its beauty, it was called Ezo, meaning "Beautiful". They add "Ezo Gelin" after they come to the age of marriage and fall in love and after they get married. And they unwittingly give the name of the soup that we all hug for healing and warms the stomach before a delicious kebab.

Ingredients

-1 cup red lentils
-1 teaspoon of rice
-1 teaspoon of bulgur
-2 teaspoons of chili peppers
-1 tablespoon of mint
-2 cloves of garlic
-1 medium onion
-1 tablespoon of pepper paste
-1 tablespoon of salt
-1 tablespoon butter
-Nearly 2 liters of hot water

How to make

In order to make ezogelin soup, we first roast the onion we grated and the garlic we crushed in butter in the pressure cooker. Let the onions lose their vitality and let them roast over medium heat without burning enough.
When the onions are fried, add the mint, red pepper and tomato paste. Let's keep roasting.
Let's mix the lentils, rice, bulgur and salt that we wash after a couple of mixes.
Let's pour about 2 liters of boiling water on another side.
We cook for 10 minutes after closing the whistle's lid and whistle. You can also make it in the usual pot, but it will cook a little later (it will take about 30-40 minutes).
