-4 eggs (whites and yolks separately)
-1.5 cups sugar
-Half tea glass of hot water
-1 teacup of oil
-1 lemon
-1 cup of wheat/corn starch
-1 glass of flour (sifted)
-1 pack of baking powder (sifted)
-1 packet of vanilla

How to make

First, let's separate the whites and yolks of our eggs. Then, in a bowl, let's whisk our egg whites together with half of our sugar to a consistency like whipped cream by thickening our egg whites at high speed of the mixer.
Then, in a separate whisking bowl, we mix the egg yolks with the remaining part of the sugar until the color turns white.
While continuing to whisk, let's add hot water and whisk for 1 more minute.
Then add the oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest and whisk for 2 more minutes.
Add the starch, flour, baking powder, and vanilla and whisk it for the last time until the ingredients are mixed.
After the whipping process, let's add our egg whites into the egg yolks slowly and feed them with a spatula from the bottom to top with slow movements. You should feed the egg whites in several times, not at once.
Let's pour our cake dough into our 24 cm mold that we greased with butter so that it does not stick.
Let's bake our cake in the oven that we preheat to 170 ° C, in a controlled manner for 40 minutes without opening the lid for the first half an hour.
