Shaped Pastry Recipe


We think there is no one who sees flowers and is not happy. Especially if you have deliciously fried, potato and flower-shaped pastries on your table, then you can even play with happiness.

With some fresh yeast, a little flour, a little milk, we make a dough that rises like a cloud. We prepare a filling from potatoes that we blend with miscellaneous spices. We combine all of them and give a flower shape. Yes, its preparation is a bit distracting, but does this beauty not deserve a little trouble?

-2 glasses of warm milk
-1 glass of warm water
-1 water glass measure of oil
-2 egg whites (on yolk)

How to make

Let's mix the liquid ingredients in a suitable container and gradually get a pulp dough that does not stick to soft hands.
Let's cover it and leave it to ferment, take the air of the fermented dough, cut walnut-sized pieces and roll it in your hand.
To give shape, let's shape it with the apparatus as in the picture, put it in a cheese mortar, close it and arrange it on an oiled paper lined oven tray.
Let's spread the egg yolk on it and sprinkle sesame and black seed.
Let's ferment it on the tray for 15 minutes, let's bake it in an oven at 170 degrees until the top and bottom is browned.The pastries are ready to serve with tea. Bon appetit ❤️
